Georgia Piedmont Technical College Learning Resource Center: Inter-Campus Loan

Requesting a book from another GPTC Campus is quick and easy.

Here is how to do it:

Type in the name or the subject of the book that you need in the text box, circled below.

Once the search engine finds the book, you can sign in at the top right where is says Guest.




Enter your Username and Password

Click on the Blue "Request" Link


Select your pick-up campus from the drop-down menu. Click “Request” link.



Your request has been submitted! When it is available to pick up you will receive a notice. You may also call us or check your GIL account.

To check your Gil account, access the "My Library Account" link when you are signed in and click on your own name.



The item(s) you requested should arrive at your campus within two to three days. A staff member will call you to let you know it's ready to be picked up. At the Newton and DeKalb campuses, you may pick your book up at the LRC. At the South DeKalb campus, you may pick it up in the Learning Commons, Room 402.  You may return the book to any one of these three places.
