Affordable Learning Georgia is an OER initiative of the University System of Georgia. It provides grants to USG faculty to create and publish open materials for use by students in a wide variety of college-level courses. You can be sure all materials available through Affordable Learning Georgia are peer-reviewed and appropriate for college teaching. Affordable Learning Georgia also aggregates OER materials from other sources. These sources will be explored in this guide.

An initiative of Rice University. OpenStax develops and publishes materials that are used in nearly half of U.S. colleges and universities. Faculty will need to create an OpenStax account and register to use materials with their classes. Your students do not need to register to use resources. It's FREE! If students prefer print versions of OpenStax textbooks, they may purchase a copy at low cost through Amazon. College bookstores can also order in bulk!
