The general election will be held on Tues. November 5, 2024. A new president of the United States will be elected. Search for their websites online to get information about their views. Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz are the democratic nominees. Former president Donald Trump and his running mate Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance are the republican nominees. You are strongly encouraged to vote for candidates all down the ballot.
If you aren't registered to vote, you can still do so until October 7, 2024. Also, young people, if you turn 18 before Nov. 5, you are eligible to register to vote. Register at Secure the Vote. You can also check your registration status and find your polling place on that site as well.
